NN1’s Xmas Act of Kindness

November 24th, 2021

Since 2019, every December NN1 Personnel has been organising a charity event ” Christmas Act of Kindness“.

This ‘Act of Kindness‘ is aimed at HGV drivers working away from home over the Christmas period. It’s just a small gesture to show them respect and support for their vital role in the industry.

This December, we are putting aside all differences, language barriers, opinions and again, we will be supporting the HGV drivers at local truckstops and bays. There are no more covid-related restrictions in place at the moment. Hence, we are aiming for a bigger event and greater support. To make this happen, we are appealing to individuals and local businesses. Help us reach more long-distance lorry drivers at roadside services around Northampton this Christmas.

How can you get involved?

We are appealing to local businesses and individuals to donate items that drivers might find handy on the road. These could be toiletries and anti-bacterial hand gels. Treats such as non-perishable food items like sweets, chocolates, and drinks are also desirable.

We would be pleased to hear from anyone who wants to help deliver food and gifts to drivers on Christmas Day.

If you would like to support our Christmas Act of Kindness with donations, please get in touch. You can drop them off at our office on Wellingborough Road, Northampton, until Friday, December 17th. If you would like more details or to arrange a collection, please email Damian at damian@nn1personnel.co.uk.

We have also set up a Go Fund Me Page for businesses or individuals willing to donate money to our Christmas cause. We will use the raised money to buy food and small gifts for the drivers spending Christmas Day in their trucks.

Also, to show your support, we kindly ask you to spread the word about our Christmas Act of Kindness 2021. Please use the #NN1ChristmasSpirit on your social media channels.
