Class 2 drivers

NN1 Personnel are looking for HGV Class 2 Delivery Drivers for our client based in Northampton. Working as a one-person team you will be confident in a manual working environment. You will ensure high standards of Health and Safety, Customer Service and Legal Compliance at all times. This is a multi-drop role working in local areas and involves manual handling due to the nature of the products being delivered.

Our drivers’ key responsibilities:

• Drive safely, obeying the rules of the road and following the correct company procedures
• To always adhere to the company’s Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Complete a daily vehicle and equipment pre-trip and post trip check using our Defect reporting processes and systems.
• Ensure all customer delivery details are captured accurately via use of PDA system.

Hours:

Monday – Friday Rota with start times between 04:30 – 06:30

What we need from you:

• Full Driving License (HGV Class 2).
• Holder of Driver CPC and current Digi card.
• Multi drop, Home delivery experience preferred but not essential
• Good geographical knowledge
• Good driving skills and knowledge of current Road Transport Regulations.
• Polite, courteous, respectful and helpful.
• Experience delivering in London

If you hold the power of an HGV driver’s license with a full UK C category, driver CPC, and UK digital tachograph card, we’re eager to chat with you. We require a minimum of 6 months of experience as an HGV driver for this position. Unfortunately, we can’t bring on drivers with previous DR, IN, or TT convictions.
