The journey
Wow! Happy Birthday, NN1 Personnel !!!! We cannot believe it has been 7 years since NN1 Personnel was born!
It wasn’t easy to start a company. However, Damian and Justyna had a vision and believed it would make a difference.
Beginnings are always challenging. We had to invest first and then find clients and drivers, and they can be sceptical when it comes to trusting a newcomer. However, over the years we gained a good reputation and respect in the logistic industry in Northamptonshire.
Apart from a lot of luck and connections, the success of NN1 Personnel is a sum of hard work, dedication and most of all – passion.
We can say we have been through a lot, especially over the last two years. Brexit, covid pandemic brought many sudden new rules and restrictions upon transport industry. On top of that, we have been dealing with driver shortages too.
Seven years and standing strong! We wouldn’t have gone so far without our customers, drivers and supporters. Thank you for your help in getting so far!
Our Achievements
We can brag ourselves with some incredible achievements over the seven years:
- good relationships with now loyal customers
- trust and respect from drivers
- we won three awards in Northamptonshire logistics awards for Temporary Staff Agency of the year in 2017, 2019 and 2021
- we successfully organised two Northampton Transport Conferences
- our office team grew from just two to 7 team members
Our missions
Our mission has always been straightforward: strive to be industry leaders in attracting and supplying the best drivers, creating a trusted, long term relationship with customers and drivers allowing them both to grow. We also wanted to raise awareness of the importance of HGV drivers in the industry, support them and give them the respect they deserve.
How do we achieve that?
- We officially set up an HGV drivers day on the 22nd of January
- We run a Driver of The Month incentive for our drivers
- Every 25th December we organise the Christmas Act of Kindness for all the HGV drivers spending their Christmas day in their trucks at truckstops across Northamptonshire
- We have raised awareness of Drivers’ Mental Health – we designed a poster with advice and available help and distributed it across all our customers, drivers and supporters.
- We take responsibility for our drivers. We treat them with respect and empathy and have developed a business culture which promotes employee development and empowerment. As a result, our drivers go above and beyond for us and for our customers.
- We live by NN1 Personnel family values: passion, honesty, respect and teamwork.
It has been a busy seven years for NN1 Personnel and the Team. We are very proud of our NN1 family and all the achievements – big and small. Thank you very much for the many years of trust. We look forward to the next seven years!
